WAYFARER IRISH TENOR BANJO 17 fret, 19-5/8″ scale with tone ring (open back)

$1,095.00

After the successful  completion of the Sammy Leary limited edition Irish Tenor Banjos we decided to produce our own bodies with the features of our popular Phoenix models.

Our Wayfarer Tenor Banjo models are made here at Barebones Folk Instruments with quality woods, imported hardware. We take care to produce an extremely playable, robust travelers banjo.

This option includes a quality, handcrafted brass tone ring produced by one of our associates here in NZ.

The 17 fret, 19-5/8th tenor scale makes for easy melody playing and an overall length that allow it to fit in a baritone uke bag.

Ideal for backpackers, buskers, travelers and just popping down to the session.

A seriously good banjo, far surpassing the mass produced brands.
