Refurbished Winsor Zither Banjo Mandolin body .

Sapele neck with Wenge fretboard

Black Walnut headstock overlay and heel-cap.

19-5/8″ Tenor scale, 17 precision cut frets.

Twin through body rods, securing the neck and preventing pan compression and aiding tuning stability.

Two way adjustable truss rod.

New 15:1 sealed geared machine heads.

NZ Paua (Abalone) fret markers.

Bone Nut and truss rod cover.

8″ original genuine velum skin head giving that great “old time” sound.

At Barebones we strive to add to our range of quality instruments on offer.
Not an easy instrument to find, we were commissioned to custom build a banjola late last year. It was so successful that we have now included it in our list of production models.
With a superb action and dulcimer like sound our banjola's give the 5 string banjo player whole new avenues to explore through beautiful, melodic tones with wonderful sustain and strong voice.
 
Some handling marks from displays (not affecting sound or playability) have us dropping to the SALE PRICE as "Shopsoiled".

The large deep body combined with a slightly wider neck profile make these great mandolins for tune players. Classic, select woods solid back and sides and our floating pick-guard for a stunning look. This has very nice action,clear bright tops and warm rounded bass making this a great Barebones Mandolin.
